Freezer friendly Beef patties


This recipe is a big hit. When you have the time (i do it on Sundays) prepare your beef patties, place them in the freezer and defrost them whenever you like. You can combine them with potatoes, rise, vegetables, make a burger..... anything you like.

Just do it. It takes only 10 minutes to prepare and it's a big time saver.

Ready in: 10 minutes (plus 45 minutes to bake in the oven)

Portion: 15-18 medium size patties

Ingredients

Beef patties in the oven

2,2 pounds (1 kg) ground beef, passed once through the meat grinder

2 medium-sized grated onions

1,5 cups fresh milk

2 eggs

1 bunch finely chopped parsley (1 1/4 cup)

1 cup breadcrumbs or oats

1 tablespoon ground oregano

2 teaspoons salt

1 teaspoon ground black pepper

1 teaspoon (sweet) red pepper

1/2 cup olive oil

olive oil for the baking tray

How to Do It

  1. Mix all the ingredients and knead.

  2. Form medium-sized patties.

  3. Place them in a baking tray that you have brushed with oil and bake in a moderate, preheated oven for 45 minutes or use the grill.
