Honey glazed Pork Loin with Orange Juice


Honey Glazed pork loin, slowly roasted within the juices of orange and lemon. A Greek Sunday classic recipe, to get the whole family gathered around the table and spend some precious time together!

How to make a honey glazed pork loin with orange juice


Ingredients


1,5 kg (3,3 lb) pork loin

1 orange (the juice)

½ lemon (the juice)

fresh rosemary (or dry)

1 tablespoon honey

2 tablespoons mustard

1 teaspoon balsamic vinegar

salt

pepper

For the potatoes

1,5 kg (3,3 lb) potatoes (small)

2 oranges (the juice)

1 lemon (the juice)

2 tablespoons mustard

5 tablespoons olive oil

2 cloves garlic

salt

pepper

For the glaze

1 tablespoon honey

1 tablespoon mustard

 

How to do it

1.Take a sharp knife and make some cuts (2 cm deep) on the pork loin. Season well with salt and pepper, add the juices of 1 orange and 1/2 lemon, some rosemary in the cuts and roast covered for 75 min (200oC/390oF air). 2. Then in a bowl mix the potatoes with salt, pepper, mustard, the orange juice, the lemon juice, the garlic cloves, and the olive oil. 3. Add the potatoes to the pork loin. 4. In a glass mix well 1 tbsp. honey with 1 tbsp. mustard and add this glaze at the surface of your loin (with a basting brush). 5. Lower the heat at 170oC/330oF and roast for another 75 minutes.
