Have you heard that brown eggs are more nutritious than white? Well, when it comes to food, it seems that brown is always better. Brown bread, brown sugar, whole-wheat pasta, whole-wheat cereals, but when it comes to eggs this is a myth.

White eggs are laid by white-feathered chickens, while the brown ones are laid by brown-feathered chickens. Because brown eggs tend to cost more, people assume they are more nutritious and more delicious. The truth is that brown eggs are more expensive because of the size of the hen that lays them. The brown-feathered chickens eat more and hence are expensive to keep, whereas breeding and raising white-feathered chickens is much cheaper.
But speaking in terms of nutritional value, there is no real and remarkable difference between brown and white eggs.
